Description
My client is looking for a Quality Conformance Engineer to join on them on a contract until December 2023.

As a Quality Conformance Engineer, you will be responsible to lead, coach and provide Quality Standards expertise to ensure that activities relatedto Quality Standards and relevant AOS bricks are performed in alignment to the required methodology.

£25.25 per hour via Umbrella (Inside IR35)

Broughton, Flintshire (onsite)


Contract:
Until December 2023


Hours: 35 hours per week Monday - Friday(working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am - 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)

Job Profile:


  • Support the deployment and improvement of the Quality Standards in Broughton as part of the overall Airbus Operating System (AOS).
  • Practical Problem Solving, Customer Protection Boards, Operational Surveillance and Control Plans are some examples of Quality Standards currently in use.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more Quality Standards in Broughton plant.
  • Lead improvement projects which are linked with the AOS Quality Standards.
  • Encourage the development of a Quality Standards culture and mindset by providing the necessary leadership, facilitation, coaching and support.
  • Support Airbus business units with effective management of projects related to Quality Standards, requiring the job holder to be able to coordinate, drive and influence a multifunctional team to deliver on time, cost and quality.
  • Prepare and deliver communications to many levels of the organisation as appropriate.
  • Manage the introduction, maintenance and monitoring of KPIs to understand and drive enhanced maturity.
  • Coordinate, transfer knowledge and share best practices between local business areas, local functions and Central functional stakeholders, enabling benefits in operational performance, culture and behaviours.
  • Monitor budget spend, forecasting and support the financial planning process and timeline (AOP & forecasting).
This role may involve some travel for business.


Skills/Experience Required:


  • Good project management skills and knowledge of improvement tools and techniques.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability and confidence to communicate with many levels of the organisation.
  • Knowledge and experience related to Quality Standards.
  • English language at negotiation level. Knowledge of principles and techniques of PC/SPC and/or data analysis.
  • Prior experience in problem solving techniques would be advantageous.
  • Good project management skills and knowledge of improvement tools and techniques.
