Post am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday

Post am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday


This role will be based at the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital and maybe required to work at Royal Derby Hospital on occasion.


  • Effective liaison with the relevant wards and departments within the hospital and with patients and other health care providers
  • Accuracy required inputting and updating patient information.
  • Reception duties as required.
  • To provide clinic support to Physiotherapists and other Management staff who may reasonably request support with other duties.
  • Deal with queries in a timely manner via the telephone or face to face, escalate as appropriate.
  • Contact patients to offer them an outpatient appointment.
  • Process clinic outcome forms to allow for the outcome of the consultation to be recorded.
  • An understanding of the 18week RTT process and a knowledge of the Trust Patient Access Policy and an agreement to adhered to these policies according to National Trust Guidelines.
  • Working to strict Trust and Government policies and Waiting list management and 18 weeks guideline
  • To provide general clerical support as and when required in support of the delivery of the service over both sites.
