Are do you have experience in auditing, compliance within Adult Social Care. We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our expanding team at Oakfield Community. The role is 22.5hrs a week (3 days) working across both provisions at Yardley Hastings and Easton Maudit (East Northants)

Monday, Wednesday, Friday but negotiable for the days.

Hours - 9am - 4.30pm


Overall purpose of the post

To:

  • Audits ensure that the required audits are completed on a monthly basis, with any actions highlighted recorded on the home development plans. Monitor actions, check completed and sign off, this is at both sites.


  • Care plans

  • Audit and monitor care plans to ensure that they are person centred, liaising with relevant member of staff, if any changes required.
  • Support the Deputies in each home with all compliance, as and when required.
  • Support the Charity Manager/Registered Manager as and when required.
  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of equal opportunities and other people's behavioural, physical, social and welfare needs.
  • Ensure that reasonable care is always taken for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and other persons, and to comply with the legislation, policies and procedures relating to health and safety, staff training and supervision within the organisation.
  • Carry out any other duties which fall within the broad spirit, scope, and purpose of this job description and which are commensurate with the skills level of the post.

Education and Qualifications

Experience and knowledge
This post will require satisfactory clearance of an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate.

Willing to undertake developmental training.

Knowledge of care services

Experience of recruitment practices.


Ability and Skills
High level of written and verbal communication
