Our client is a multi-functional accounting firm, with the sole aim to help small businesses with between - 4 full-time employees, scale in size, and profits.


They do this by managing their accounts and keeping them up to date with the tax authorities, they give them high-quality financial information about their business and maintain their business plan, and they also provide the coaching support they need tobridge the gap between their current reality and their goals.

Over the last year, they have invested heavily in developing our Apex program to achieve the above, it is entirely unique and the feedback from the initial group of clients confirms how transformationalit is.


They are now looking for a business development executive to help them take it to the next level and scale it up.

A lot of the program value comes from events and developing a community, so it gets better with more people involved.


The role will involve:

  • Nurturing Referral Partners
  • Building relationships with people who can introduce them to their ideal clients


  • Lead Management

  • Maintaining regular contact with existing leads and following up on proposals
  • Creating Proposals
  • Understanding how to quote for our solution and turning these around quickly


  • Outbound Lead Generation

  • Calling local businesses and existing leads and inviting them to events or informing them about new resources we've created.
  • Attending business events and exhibitions


  • Sales Calls

  • Auditioning potential clients before progression to a sales meeting with the directors


That said, only a mínimal amount of prior experience is necessary as they have some well-developed sales practices within the business already and use a CRM to manage their leads.

  • Personal organisation
  • The ability to make 70 calls a day, with 3 hours of talk time
  • A thirst for personal development, our client are a closeknit family and they regularly have teambuilding activities as well as a 3day trip once a year, they would expect the new BDE to make an effort to attend these.
