Business Configuration Support - Finance:

Job Purpose:

Work on the SRS replacement project with the business solution, strand leads and Tribal teams in each area to ensure that the new student record system meets the requirements of the University.

You will use the knowledge that you have to provide expert guidance on the configuration of the system to the project team so that the new SRS meets the University's requirements when it goes live.

Responsibilities:

Assist in system analysis, design, development, and testing activities.
Coordinate with business analysts to understand user requirements and align the software solutions with business programmes.
Review and recommend changes to existing configuration processes.
Assist in configuration of templates, out of the box processes, or bespoke workflows based on business requirements.
Develop and maintain configuration policies and procedures.
Perform system testing for enhancements implemented in system.
Collaborate with contractors and external vendors in order to resolve issues.
Provide assistance in developing training material and provide regular information regarding system and business changes.
Analyse and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner.
Provide support in developing, implementing and testing patch releases and system upgrades.
Analyse and define specifications for enhancements in performance of existing business system.
Provide assistance to customers in defining and implementing architectural changes.
Provide end user support, monitor the system, respond to queries, resolve and escalate issues.
Train and mentor junior colleagues and give backup support to team members.
