Description

As Restaurant Captain, you are responsible for leading the team to ensure that each member performs his/her assigned duty according to the service standards of the outlet to achieve guest satisfaction.

• Check the turnover report of the previous shift and plan out the work of your team according to the said report.
• Conduct briefing to the team at the start of every shift and communicate any relevant information needed for the day's operation.
• Guide and control all service crews/bartenders/cashiers in the execution of their duties to ensure that all operational matters are taken care of and guest expectations are met.
• Ensure that all service crews/bartenders/cashiersfollow the service standards in the outlet when serving guests.
• Ensure that all service crews/bartenders/cashiersstrictly implement the food hygiene and safety at all times.
• Participate in the meseenplace and ensure that side stations are wellsupplied and organized.
• Perform the opening and closing procedures of the Restaurant together with the service crews/bartenders/cashiers.
• Liase with the Kitchen and other related section to ensure that the operation runs smoothly in areas of joint responsibility.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling the restaurant operating equipment (OE) inventory and participate in inventory taking.
• Prepare the store requisition for restaurant items to ensure there is enough supply for the operation.
• Conduct frequent front and back of house checks ensuring miseenplace, service procedures, standards of cleanliness and hygiene, repair and maintenance, employee grooming and manning levels are in order and; take appropriate action where necessary
• Assist in the maintenance of efficient administration preparing and submitting reports on time as directed.
• Assist in the orientation and/or Onthejob training of new waiters/waitresses/hostess.
• Coach, counsel, discipline and develop service crews/bartenders/cashiersto make them more effective and productive on the job.
• Peforms waitering job, whenever necessary.
• Prepare a daily report indicating the revenue and incidents that happened during the operation.
