Description
To provide administrative service that is tailored to meet the needs of the individual and to understand what our patients/customers need and be adaptable and responsive To work as part of a team demonstrating effective communication, and working collaboratively with colleagues inside and out of the department.
To manage diaries and undertake a varied number of administrative tasks to meet the demands of the service and those working within the Department To deal with telephone queries from parents/carers, GPs, social services, medical and nursing staff and other professional bodies efficiently and ensuring discretion and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Making a difference in Patient care within Child Health You will need to have good communication skills to converse with medical teams throughout the Trust as well as parents/carers and other teams, both internal and external.
Organisation is key to this role, where duties include some clinic bookings, following up on outcomes from outpatient and inpatient visits.
