Ibk is a community based, not-for-profit social enterprise with over 20 years' experience of providing Direct Payment Support to families, children and adults of all ages with a range of needs. We provide a bespoke matching service, finding the right PA for the right person
IBK are supporting a family in S4 to recruit the perfect PA for their 10 year old daughter. The charming young girl has a condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy 1-2, which severely effects her muscle development. She loves her princesses and loves nothing more to dress up and paint her nails. As well as going out to town or the cinema and just a good chat.


The roles of the PA will include personal care and will be required to reposition the the young girl to reduce muscle pain so is in need of an individual who has the experience with children with disabilities.

Although independently uses a powered wheelchair, the PA will be provided with training by the parents and the Helena Nursing team in order to meet the young person's needs.

The PA will be required to support her after school and weekends for 12 hours per week.

This will be used flexible depending on the young girl's plans whether this is out and about or at home.

Job Type:

£11.34 per hour
