We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Assistant to provide a welcoming experience for clients and visitors and support the office as part of the workplace & facilities team


This is a pivotal, support role, which will predominantly be front of house, and will significantly impact external and internal clients within the office environment.

Please note that this is a full time office based role.


In this role, you will:


Be inquisitive about Arup and proactively seek to appreciate the internal and external 'ecosystem' that this role is operating within.


Provide a full range of administrative support, including providing an excellent front of house experience to colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.

Help to manage our reception, client and meeting room spaces.


Be collaborative, pro-active, flexible, and adaptable with tasks and responsibilities even when there are last-minute changes, taking ownership where appropriate.


Have excellent computer skills in MS Office, and experience, or keenness to learn relevant software such as Trello, Sway, MS Forms, PowerAutomate, PowerBi etc and will actively participate in CPD sessions as part of our digital transformation programme.

Being curious about the use of new digital tools and techniques to make tasks swifter, more efficient or enjoyable.

Learn how to operate within a cohesive workplace & facilities team, promoting and sharing best practice within Business Services.
Take ownership of tasks, thinking about the bigger picture and any knock-on impacts.
