Salary:

What is the Role?

As well as support with the academic side you will spend the balance of your time on a variety of placements with specific contract and commercial aspects of the life of a project from inception to closure and final accounting.

The placements will include a variety of projects Overhead line, Primary Substation Refurbishments, Cabling, Tree Cutting, Rising Mains, Jointing, Automation, and any other frameworks required by the business.

The day-to-day role will provide variety you will have a wide span of responsibilities, supporting the Distribution Procurement and Commercial Team on all elements of procurement, commercial and risk including:

Tendering of projects, from initiation and review of tender packs, through to evaluation of returns and providing commercial input on appointing the right contractor.
Commercial reporting, and communication to various stakeholders.
Conduct site safety audits.

What do I need to join?
You will have gained or be predicted to achieve a 2:2 Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying.
