Global Health and Safety Ltd are UK's local manufacturers of healthcare products, established to manufacture and supply PPE equipment including medical face masks, elastic bandages, and BS 7505 compliant compression therapy solutions.
As part of our growth, we have secured new premises in Milton Keynes, which brings with it this fantastic opportunity to join our team.
The role will involve:
- Responsibility for bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Invoice processing, and making sure there is no duplication of purchase invoices/expense claims
- Order Processing
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing and maintaining sales cycle processes and posting entries, including preparation of sales invoices
- Responsibility for purchases and procurement cycle processes and postings
- Responsibility of bank postings and reconciliations
- Preparation of Payroll process
- Liaising with Accounting consultants
- Dealing with all accounting, reporting, budgeting functions
- Supplier/provider approval process and due diligence
- Dealing with credit control
- Any other tasks as and when requested
- Have a track record in use of Xero accounting software
- Have 3+ years comparable bookkeeping experience
- Be AAT qualified to L4 or ACCA part qualified as a minimum
- Demonstrate good IT, time management and organisational skills
- Have strong communication skills
- Be proactive and be able use your own initiative
Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000 FTE (depending on experience)
Working hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

This role is full time - onsite.
