Vacancy Hours: 30 hours (TTO plus training days) Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 15.30

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to take on the role of GTA as soon as possible to work 1:1 with a child in our Reception Class.


The role will include:

  • Working to support teaching and learning by working 1:1 with the child under the direction of teaching staff.
  • Working in the classroom or appropriate location within the school, with access to support and guidance as required.
  • Preparing and organising teaching materials, ensuring that resources are readily available for activities.
  • Providing intimate care for the child
  • Assist in escorting and supervising the child on educational visits and out of school activities.
  • Be a hardworking team player
  • Be motivated and positive, with a cando attitude
  • Have high expectations and standards
  • Be resilient and flexible
  • Be personable, with a good sense of humour
  • Ideally, have previous experience in a primary school or health care setting.
