Job Description:
Hospital Porter

Responsibilities:

Transport patients, medical equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital
Assist with patient transfers and mobility
Deliver specimens and lab samples to the appropriate departments
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
Dispose of waste and hazardous materials following proper protocols
Respond to requests for assistance from hospital staff in a timely manner
Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects or patients when necessary
Knowledge of basic medical terminology is a plus
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
