Summary:

We are a rapidly expanding construction company based in Bradford, West Yorkshire and due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit for the position of an experienced Estimator.

Applicants will need previous experience in medium scaled contractor-based construction projects in sectors such as refurbishments, fit outs and new builds.

The Role:

Reporting to the directors you will work closely with all areas of the business (including the contracts managers and site managers) ensuring the effective undertaking of estimating duties which will include but is not limited to the following;

Process initial inquiries and preparing tender submissions.
Manage and control costs on projects and prepare cost value comparisons and projected final accounts.
Review, approve, sign off weekly / monthly labor, subcontractor and materials invoices/orders.
Prepare take offs and undertake estimates and final account settlements.
Issue and manage the subcontractor tendering process through to the final orders.
Monitor subcontractor performance and record additional works for presentation to project teams.

You will be an experienced Estimator with previous experience in the contractor based tendering process.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you will be fully conversant with Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, Projects and particularly Excel.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
