Here at CB Transport Refrigeration Ltd we have an exciting opportunity for a Parts department assistant.

The position is based at our Knowsley headquarters from where we distribute the workload for our customers to our 40 mobile engineers who cover Lancaster to Oxford/North Wales to Luton.

This vast area also incorporates two further workshops in Northampton and Tamworth.

Our rapidly growing business requires a Parts assistant to oversee all workshop and mobile van stock movement as well as other duties at our Knowsley Depot.

Reporting to the Depot Manager the main objectives of the position are:
Stock management for workshop and mobile vans

Ensure procedures are followed and updated within the parts department

process customer enquiries and sales

process purchase orders

carry out stock checks

deliver parts to sites when required

ensure area of responsibility is kept clean and tidy

Essential criteria for the position:
Ability to use own initiative

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

Ability to work within a team environment

Excellent communication and customer liaison skills

Full driving license

Previous experience/knowledge in the motor vehicle or heavy goods industry preferred, but not essential.

Additional Criteria for the position

Fork Lift Truck license (but not essential)
