Job Description: Science Teacher KS3/4

Responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering individualized education programs to students with special educational needs
Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to students and parents
Collaborating with support staff, such as learning support assistants and other teachers, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Providing support and guidance to students with emotional, and behavioural needs
Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of student progress and development

"In this role, you will be responsible for managing behaviour in the classroom and helping students stay on track. You will use positive reinforcement techniques and work with the team to develop strategies for addressing behaviour challenges. You shouldbe comfortable setting clear expectations and boundaries, and have the patience and understanding to support students as they learn and grow. If you have experience working with children with behavioural needs, that is a plus."

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Science or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching students with additional educational needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient and understanding approach to working with students
