We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in preparing and serving meals and beverages in compliance with food hygiene standards and regulations, all while maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

As the Catering Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional catering services to patients, staff, and visitors.

The Role

Receive, process, prepare and deliver food and drink orders and experiences
Keep the service and back of house areas in a clean and safe condition
Deliver an experience, more so than just a service. Be an entertainer
Know the offer inside out, and be able to make informed recommendations to our clients
Preempt the needs of our customers and create meaningful and memorable service moments
Maintain a high profile front of house and be aware of what's happening during service, and effectively resolve any challenges ensuring colleague and customer satisfaction at all times
Keep our colleagues, client colleagues and visitors safe with our safetyfirst mentality while they are in our care, using the safety tools available to you
Oversee the standard and quality of all food & drink; you and the service team will serve as the final quality check for everything that is served and delivered to our customers. If it isn't right, we change it
Keep your ear close to the ground Tell us what the customer wants and how we keep our clients happy and coming back. Shout about your successes

About You

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to identify and resolve issues and challenges to meet and exceed the expectations of our client
Strong communicator able to communicate with clients, operations, suppliers, and team with prior client facing experience
Positive attitude to change and ability to be flexible to the changing priorities of the role
Ability to prioritise workloads appropriately

A clear understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion

A level of computer literacy including Excel; PowerPoint; Word; Financial Systems; Web and Mobile Applications
