Job Purpose

Lead the tax function of this thriving firm.
Advise clients on overseas tax liabilities and efficiencies.
Legal compliance.
Corporate tax support.
Tax structuring.
Transfer pricing.
Capital allowance claims.
Group corporate tax issues.
The leadership of the tax department, management of the team and oversight of workflow.
Client relationship management.
Networking and business development.
Supporting the Partners on an ad hoc basis with a range of operational and strategic projects.

This firm works with its loyal clients to provide an enhanced level of client relationships and trust and the full suite of business support services.

The office handles fees of c. £5m, with an approximate fee split of 50% audit fees and 50% tax, advisoryand accounting service fees.

This firm will suit someone who can step into the role and inspire the people around them, setting an example to junior staff and driving the firm's tax function.

What are we looking for?

A dynamic and motivated tax professional.
FCA or CIOT qualified or QBE.
Experienced in providing tax services for clients with turnovers between £1million and £100 million.
A firstclass communicator.
Experience of personal, corporate, and international tax matters.
An experienced people manager who can inspire and oversee the work of the tax department at a strategic level.
An accountant who can hit the ground running.
Commercial acumen and a keen eye for noticing and creating opportunities.
Analytical skill and attention to detail.
A modern approach to change and flexible ways of working.
Willingness to support the Partners to lead the firm into the future of accounting.
