TEACHING ASSISTANT - HOSPITAL SCHOOL

Teaching Assistant, Full Time, Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)

Pay Scale Range:
Hay Grade 5 spine point 6 to spine point 13

Salary Range:
Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Salary range £24,270 - £27,498

Salary, Pro Rata:
FTE Salary pro rata for Term Time Only (TTO) £20,891 - £23,669

Hours of work 8.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.


Based at the Bethlem Hospital, Beckenham, but must be willing to work at the school's other site at the Maudsley Hospital in Camberwell.

The Maudsley and Bethlem School is an outstanding hospital school providing education for children and young people (aged in hospital who are experiencing a broad range of psychological illnesses. As TA you will be mainly working with year old students. Our school helps children and young people at a difficult time in their lives.

- has experience of providing support to individuals and groups of young people who may experience a range of challenges to their learning;
