DIMENSIONS

  • To set and operate machinery to produce parts to technical drawings and instructions
  • Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions
  • Maintain cleanliness of the machine
  • Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations
  • Skilled in organising the work area before and after parts are processed
  • Setting up and preparing machine before, during and after production
  • Overseeing the running of machine
  • Ensuring products meet specification and match technical drawings
  • Inspecting and maintaining quality control before, during and after production
  • Follow all Company safety procedures
  • Follow production schedules as required and meet deadlines
  • Read production schedule and specifications to ascertain product to be fabricated
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workstation in line with 5S standards

Previous experience

ESSENTIAL

  • Minimum 2 year experience setting, programming and operating a Brake Press machine
  • Minimum 2 year experience working in engineering
  • To have an understanding in different material grades
  • Experience of working to customer and business specifications
  • Understanding of mechanical production techniques
  • Be able to use tape measures, micrometre, verniers and go/nogo gauges accurately
  • Proven problemsolving skills
  • Competence to accurately read and interpret drawings and setting data

Working Days

Working Hours
Dayshift: 7:4- 17:00 Mon - Thurs, 7:4- 13:00 Fri

(Total 39 hours of work per week. However, you may be expected to work additional hours depending on business requirements)
