The Role of Area Sales Manager

As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling our clients range of structural heavy side construction products.

You will be tasked with managing relationships key Builders Merchants Accounts that will include the likes of Travis Perkins, Jewsons& Gibbs and Dandy as well as leading independent mixed buying groups including Fortis & NBG.

You will be responsible for an area that is performing exceptionally well vs target with a turnover of approx. £17m.

As Area Sales Manager will be tasked with a focus on retaining strong profit margins liaising with Key Account Managers, Sales Managers & Business Unit Managers at Builders Merchants.

Your time with Builders Merchants will be spent building relationships,product training and building brand awareness. The successful Area Sales Manager will spend time with Contractors, End-Users and House-builders stimulating demand with builders merchants.

Field sales experience, having either worked for a builders merchant or sold to builders merchants is preferable.
This would a suite 2nd / 3rd career move.
My client is looking for a career minded Area Sales Manager with a stable track record.
