Domestic Senior Supervisor - Glasgow, United Kingdom - NHS Scotland
Description
In this role you will be responsible- Supervision and direction of supervisors and domestic staff, making regular visits to premises throughout their area of responsibility.
- Allocation of schedules of work, checking work schedules and making temporary adjustments as may be required to meet needs of the service on a daily basis whilst ensuring financial expenditure does not exceed allocated budget.

Hotel Services Manager:
daily register/checklists; notification of absence details for supervisors and domestic assistants.
- Authorization and recording of annual leave or other leave whilst maintaining service within budget.
- Responsible for recording and calculation of timesheets, overtime payments and signing off for hours worked.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection and appointment process of new staff.
- Training of staff in conjunction with Hotel Services Manager
- Ensuring staff comply with food hygiene policies and complete all CPI record sheets as per local policy,
- Supervise and ensure sufficient supplies for ward food service and ensure all CPI record sheets are completed collated and signed off as per local policy.
- Monitor that cleaning agents and equipment are stored correctly. Order cleaning agents for distribution.
- Ensuring observation of safe working methods.
- Coordinating carpet cleaning programs, wall washing and curtain changing programs.
- IR1 completion and submission.
- Maintain communication between Domestic Department and medical, nursing and other departments and patients/visitors and Trust Peers.
- Plan, control and delegate periodic cleans including deep cleaning.
- Completion of National Monitoring Framework ensuring rectifications are carried out within required timescale
- Counsel staff and carry out return to work interviews in line with Sector policies.
- Ensure staff comply with Health & Safety regulations and adhere to manual handling/risk assessment and fire safety training.
