Following PE-backing and impressive growth last year, our client is currently searching for a
Head of Product, who will play a significant role in the business' continued success - heading up the digital product strategy, as well as acting as growing the brand through marketing events and business development.
This Individual will be joining the thriving London office and brings significant working experience in software product management as well as a strong knowledge of energy trading and the wholesale electricity market in general.
Key responsibilities:
- Having responsibility for the entire product strategy.
- Creating and developing product management processes, creating an effective and efficient environment.
- Responsible for the product roadmap and prioritisation based on customer feedback and market reports.
- Working closely with the software team to develop product features, after gathering market research and UI testing data.
- Aiding the sales team by attending events and customer meetings, presenting the business strategy and product details as required.
- Support BD efforts and launch strategy across international markets.
- Head up onboarding of new electricity supply partners to the software platform.
- Responsible for any market intelligence surrounding the product, working closely with Head of Marketing.
Attributes & Skills:
- 8+ years in product management.
- Track record in developing software products surrounding energy/cleantech.
- Extensive experience with international energy markets and energy trading, ideally involving distributed energy resources (DERs) such as EV Charging or energy storage (BESS).
- Strategic & entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience promoting product strategy internally & externally, via events and/or conferences.
- Experience leading or growing a team.
- Capability to travel internationally as required.
- Ability to work crossfunctionally, supporting the development, product and analytics teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present convincingly.
- Fluency in other languages is a plus
