WELCOME TO THE GOOD PRACTICE We are a friendly GP practice on the Kings Road in Chelsea, London.

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, we strive to provide a high quality service and treat all our patients with the utmost respect and care.

We would like to recruit two receptionists/administrators to join our great team. We are a busy surgery with a diverse group of staff to reflect our diverse community.

Hours to be decided. References and DBS checks will be required. We look forward to hearing from you.


Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing a high volume of phone calls from patients and health care professionals Greeting, checking in and booking appointments for patients at the front desk Dealing with repeat prescription requests Responding efficiently and with respect and empathy to patient enquiries both in person and by telephone Advise patients of relevant charges for non-NHS services, accept payment and issue receipts Remaining patient and calm in often stressful situations Scanning, filing and photocopying documents Clerical support to GPs and the wider healthcare team (completing and processing referrals/documents)

Understand and disseminate NHS wider policies to patients when requested Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the management team Support the practice team with patient wellbeing events patients coffee mornings/drinks Person Specification Excellent communication skills and telephone manner Punctual timekeeper A polite and caring attitude A well-presented and professional appearance Excellent team working skills Undertake full training and keen to learn new skills DSB checked Flexible to cover some Saturday morning for clinics and staff holiday and sickness Essential Experience of working in an NHS setting Familiarity with NHS performance targets Experience of working with Emis or SystmOne Evidenced understanding of GDPR and General IT security Good standard of GCSEs including Maths and English Proficient user of MS Outlook, Excel & Word & other platforms Confidentiality:
