Domestic Gas Engineer

£37k-£41k Basic Salary + Company Van + Overtime/Call Out + Travel Pay + Benefits

Excellent opportunity for an experienced gas engineer to join a leading and well-established domestic and commercial heating provider with over 25 years' industry experience and based in the West Sussex region.


Job Role:


  • Working as a mobile gas engineer throughout West Sussex, you'll mainly be working in a triangle between Brighton/Lewes, across to Chichester and then up towards Surrey/Crawley/Horsham etc.
  • Responsible for mainly service, breakdown and repair works on domestic gas, boilers and heating systems.
  • Diagnosing faults on boilers and other gas appliances, landlord certificates etc.
  • Superb opportunity for a domestic engineer to be put through commercial gas (if you want it, not essential if you'd rather domestic work).

Key Skills & Experience Required:


  • Domestic ACS gas tickets are essential, such as; CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 etc.
  • You'll need to hold an extensive domestic gas / heating engineer background.
  • Good service, breakdown and installation experience working on a range of domestic gas, boilers and heating systems.
  • Ideally Natural Gas, LPG and Oftec experience.
  • Training into commercial gas for the right person and engineer.

Salary & Package Details:


  • Employed and PAYE position
  • Basic Salary of £37k£41k
  • Company Van
  • Travel Pay after certain distance
  • Call out rota time and a half for call outs and double time on Sun/Bank Holidays (plus door to door pay)
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
