I currently have a Highways Design Engineer position to work on a wealth both Public Realm and Private highway schemes.

The role is based in Wakefield and you will be involved in the detailed design using Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, KeySIGN, KeyLINES, PDS andmany others, giving you fantastic exposure to the latest design software's.

When using these design software's, you will be involved in anything from road adoptions to signalised junctions and Dual Carriageway Alignment design.

As this is a smaller team you will get the opportunity get full exposure to all responsibilities surroundingthis scheme, including client liaison, budget management, and programme delivery.

You will be required to work in the Wakefield office 5 days a week to be a fully integrated into the team so you will need to keep this in mind when applying.

Highway Design Engineer Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Civil Engineering, or equivalent;
Working towards, with a clear development plan, or have achieved, professional membership e.g. Institution of Civil Engineers;
Experience of working with AutoDesk software such as CAD, Civil 3D and Key packages.
Experience with identifying and resolving multidisciplinary interfaces
Experience of UK highway design codes and practices would be advantageous;
