Description
We are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer based in the Education sector.

This position offers a variety of day-to-day support, maintenance, and project-based technical responsibilities, working both on-site at client sites and based in our office.


This role does involve field work based on a working schedule, with sites based in Southampton and Bournemouth - mileage paid.

Due to the needs of the role, a driving license is essential.

  • Managing and troubleshooting Windows 10, Server 2016+ Networks
  • Experience using and managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP
  • Administering Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Cloud working, OneDrive, Sharepoint
  • Backup Systems, Printing & Networking
  • Experience working with ticketing and helpdesk procedures
  • Understanding and adherence to change control
Experience in the following is desirable;

  • Mac OS, Google OS, Chromebooks, Android Devices
  • Intune
  • MDM for iPads
  • Networking: LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, Switches, Managed WIFI, Firewalls and Routers
Due to the nature of the role, a clean DBS check is necessary for the role. This position is initially on a 6-month contract with view to extend after successful period.


Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
