  • Do your bit by joining as Waste Water Treatment Leader mostly in the Inverness area but also covering treatment works in Aberdeenshire, Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Persley, as well as Stonehaven pumping stations.
  • What you'll do
  • To lead and manage the performance of an operational team, and to provide them with the necessary resources, direction, and skills to deliver service safely ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulation.
  • You'll have budgetary responsibility and will support the Capital Programme and other relevant projects and change initiatives. A key part of the role includes asset improvement or proactive asset upgrade works and/or providing external stakeholders with clear actions to rectify contraventions.
  • What you'll bring
  • You will be working with process industry equipment, and it is essential that you have a background in Operational or Maintenance activities in Water, Wastewater or Process environments.
  • Treatment experience with activated sludge processes, as well as centrifuges and sludge treatment processes is desirable.
  • It is essential that you are natural Leader, ideally with experience of managing a team to deliver sustainable performance against challenging targets. You will have experience of Leading and embedding change, influencing, and driving the right culture and behaviours.
  • You will also have advanced Persuasion and Influencing skills, with a proven history of driving Operational improvements in quality, efficiencies, and cost reduction through improved ways of working. You will achieve this through clearly setting and communicating your expectations, inspiring others to succeed, and openly celebrating success.
  • Robust financial management and commercial awareness skills are needed to form the foundation of all business decisions.
  • Incident management experience is also ideal to identify and minimise environmental and customer impact and restore services as quickly and effectively as possible.
  • Previous beneficial experience includes Control of Contractors and Permits, as well as work with Steam and Pressure systems.

  • Salary up to £47,924.00 GBP Annual depending on experience
  • Annual employee bonus up to a maximum of £1,14
