Tate's People Team delivers a range of HR services, covering the full employee life cycle.

We are looking for an experienced payroll operations professional who has a breadth of knowledge and experience in managing payroll activities.

Proactive and productive, you will be supremely well organised and able to manage a varied workload and competing deadlines on a daily basis.

You will have a keen eye for detail and be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to your stakeholders.

You will demonstrate a solution driven approach to problem solving and you will be used to using your own initiative to get things done.

You will have solid payroll experience, as well as knowledge of at least one major HRIS and other reporting tools.

Experience of using Resourcelink and COGNOS/Improptu is desirable.

Solid numeracy and reporting skills and prior experience of supporting pension and benefits arrangements is also crucial.

You will be able to work with budgets and have the ability to take ownership of the invoicing process for the department, working closely with your colleagues in finance.

You will be able to work well in a team and our external payroll and benefits providers to provide a streamlined payroll service to our customers.

A passion for continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency and automation is essential.

You should be committed to continuous professional development and be able to demonstrate this.
