Description
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to join a Senior Management Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing both Qualifications and Apprenticeship operations, contributing to the strategic growth of the organisation.

You will work closely with the CEO, Head of Quality, and Head of Learning to manage the operations team.


Responsibilities:

As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the customer service team and ensuring that customer issues are resolved promptly
  • Undertaking monthly reviews with Mentors regarding their Apprentice case load
  • Liaising with the Head of Learning to ensure optimal use of our Trainers and Mentors
  • Collating data and uploading funding claims to the Levy system, resolving any errors, and understanding the nature of any clawbacks
  • Managing the enrolment and onboarding of new Apprentices, including Eligibility Assessment
  • Contributing to the evolution of our processes to ensure a Good Ofsted inspection outcome
  • Providing statistics and data to the Board as required
  • Ensuring ESFA data is compliant with regulations
  • Monitoring and managing requirements related to Apprenticeship Accountability Framework metrics
  • Managing qualification workshop scheduling and resource allocation
  • Undertaking necessary CPD to ensure knowledge of Apprenticeship and Qualification provision is current
  • Assisting the Head of Quality in the development of Policies and Procedures and ensuring they are adequately implemented, and continuous improvement initiatives are effectively introduced
  • Managing the arrangements for Functional Skills and End Point Assessments
  • Managing internal assessments as required by Awarding Bodies
  • Managing data entry of Qualification results advised by Awarding Bodies
  • Liaising with End Point Assessment organizations and building strong relationships
  • Acting as Safeguarding Lead
  • Communicating with Employers as necessary

Requirements:


  • Strong experience in managing apprenticeships
  • Indepth knowledge of apprenticeship provision, including Ofsted inspections, ESFA regulations, funding claims, and operational efficiency
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of technology and able to contribute to the further development of our systems
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with Awarding Bodies (desirable)

Salary:
£38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
