Job Profile:

Global Research is looking for a Head of European Fixed Income Research.

The role will involve producing research on Fixed Income (rates & credit) market views / trade ideas and themes that can be presented to institutional and corporate clients along with internal stakeholders.

It will report to the Global Head of Fixed Income Research.


Responsibilities:


  • Produce and develop market views and trade ideas for global institutional investors on Fixed Income (rates and credit) markets.
  • Managing the European Fixed Income Research team whilst working closely with the Global Head Fixed Income Research.
  • Maintain and build the HSBC brand through regular research publications and client marketing.
  • Participate in regular research, trading and sales internal meetings.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree
  • 20 years' work experience in a management capacity within fixed income research and portfolio management on the sell and buy side with a proven track record.
  • In depth understanding of macroeconomics and fixed income.
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong leadership, management, coaching, team working and collaboration skills.
  • Certificated role
