Davies Resourcing are delighted to be working with this very established family run insurance broker, who have been in operation for over 40 years and who are part of a strong Network, gaining access to an extensive panel of commercial insurers.

We are currently looking to speak to experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to be part of and to assist the busy Commercial Team, overseeing an in-house Art Industry binders, so underwriting experience beneficial but not essential.

The Commercial Lines Team is also handles all types of cross class commercial insurance business with premium ranges up to £5000
This role would ideally suit someone who has 3 years+ experience handling commercial insurance classes, gained within an Insurance broking environment or Insurer and ideally by fully Cert CII qualified or prepared to study towards completion within the firstyear of employment


Formal Qualification Requirement:


  • At least 3 years' experience either in an insurance company or a brokerage.
  • A-C Maths/English GCSE
  • Cert CII or proof that you are working towards this. Help is provided with the cost of obtaining this qualification.

Principle duties:


  • Assisting an account exec to manage a portfolio of renewals to include negotiating, broking and administration.
  • Midterm adjustments
  • Credit control
  • Managing claims
  • Cross selling other insurance products in respect of the clients demands and needs
  • Managing day to day compliance procedures
  • Effectively managing your diary
  • Excellent time management
  • Good telephone and communication skills
  • Maintaining a training log throughout the year.

Hours of work
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.

00pm this could vary depending on workload
