AM Shift: 5:30am - 13:45pm
PM Shift: 15:00pm - 23:15pm


We have some excellent opportunities for people with automotive paint spraying experience to join our Automotive OEM client at their site in Woking, initially on a 2 month contract but with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position.


The role will work as part of a small, multi-functional team split across a 2-shift operation on a 1-week rotation, reporting to a Paint Team Leader.


Paint Team Member Duties:


  • Understand and follow detailed work instructions relating to the painting of vehicles
  • Ensure that all station operations on each vehicle are completed to the required quality standard
  • Ensure that all operations are completed to the required timescale
  • Work as part of a team on the definition and solution of problems that may be affecting the quality, cost or productivity of the vehicles being produced
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities as requested
  • Preparing your paint spraying equipment ready for daily use.
  • Mixing paints to the right colour and consistency as per the mixing matrix.
  • Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
  • Supporting the paint kitchen with Storing paints in the correct conditions.
  • Supplied all PPE required including spray guns and air feed masks, you will be accountable for the maintenance of such items.

Desirable Paint Team Member Skills & Experience:

  • Previous Automotive Paint Spaying experience is desirable
  • No formal qualifications are necessary; however, experience within automotive or manufacturing would be a distinct advantage.
  • Prior experience of working as part of a team is desirable.
  • Prior experience of working to timescales would be advantageous.
  • Quality focused with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow processes set in place.
  • Preparing paint spraying equipment
  • Mixing paints to the right colour and consistency
  • Maintaining and cleaning equipment
  • Storing paints in the correct conditions
  • Ensuring that you always follow safety procedures
  • Adhere to all requirements for hazardous or nonhazardous waste disposal.
