Finance assistant

Full time 40 hours per week

A flexible approach to working hours which must meet the needs of the business - this may include some weekends.

Over recent years we have gained an enviable reputation as the leader in this niche, but a fastgrowing area of artisan food. Our products are produced from a modern, wellequipped bakery based in Norton Malton, the selftitled _
Food Capital of Yorkshire._

As the central hub and 'face' of the business, tasks will include but is not exhaustive to

Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices and purchases
Payment processing creditors and refunds
Price checking invoices against purchase orders
Setting up new customer accounts
Accuracy of delivery notes, completed, researching discrepancies and trends
Sorting and filling accounts payable
Payroll, payment of wages & pensions filing
Assisting Management Accountant when required
Month end processing
Stocktake
Purchase ledger
Profit & loss statement
Expense claims
Credit control
Provide cover and when required assist in any area of the business
Customer service
Answer telephone calls and redirect as required
Deal with complaints as required

Key skills

AAT qualified desirable but not essential
Can do attitude
Accurate reporting
Great communicator
Proficient in Excel.
