Appointment Basis:
Permanent. This is a shift-based role covering a 3-shift pattern which will include weekends on a rota basis.
Salary:
Annual Salary £40, % Shift Allowance (3-shift pattern)

Your future role
The Operations team based at our Oxley Traincare Depot, currently perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the Class 390 (Pendolino) fleet operated by Avanti West Coast and are expanding to be able to carry out the preventative maintenance on the new Class 805/807 fleet which will be replacing the Class 221 fleet currently operated by Avanti West Coast.
You'll be working as part of a team, to ensure that the fleet is serviced and maintained in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, whilst constantly seeking to improve quality.
What are my key responsibilities?
- Examination andInspection of rolling stock.
- Electrical andmechanical fitting.
- Electrical andmechanical fault finding.
- Carry out all work in line with Alstom's zero deviation policy (AZDP).

Essential
- An Engineering qualification such as HNC Electrical / Electronic or Level 4 Rail Engineering, minimum level 3 electrical and/or mechanical qualification
- Practical experience and a sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering
- Technical experience and expertise in mechanical and/orelectrical engineering
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Experience with modern Electrical Multiple Units
