Description

The Estates Department is looking for a Mechanical Craftsperson with a background preferably gained in building services or healthcare environment to join the Maintenance Team.


The vacancy will be based at our Winchester Hospital site; however the role can include work on any of the Trust sites.


The successful applicant will be required to carry out planned and reactive mechanical works inclusive of repair, maintenance and minor improvement to the building and hospital facilities, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for staff and visitors.

The successful applicant will require good communication skills.

An empathetic approach to staff and patients, be adaptable, willing to learn new skills and be able to work independently as well as part of the team.

The applicant must have the physical ability and agility to carry out manual handling.
