Teaching Assistant required to support children with complex needs on a 1-2-1 basis.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for working with children who have a range of complex learning needs.

Thisoutstanding school is looking to add a Teaching Assistant to the team on a long-term basis to provide 1-2-1 support.

You will be joining an experienced and supportive team of Teaching Assistants who go above and beyond to ensure that every child gets the mostout of each day.

As a Teaching Assistant at this school you will be delivering 1-2-1 support and intervention for children who have a range of physical disabilities and complex learning needs.

This school is looking for a kind caring and compassionate Teaching Assistant whohas previous experience within a SEN setting. Staff are friendly, leadership are supportive and this is a lovely school to work in. This role requires a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with recent SEN experience.

Job Role:

  • Supporting children with Physical Disabilities and Complex Medical Needs
  • Understanding a range of additional needs
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant /SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils
  • Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours
