Fire Glass UK Ltd is one of the UK's leading manufacturers, suppliers, and glaziers of fire and acoustic glass, and is looking to appoint an HR Advisor at their Midlands Full-time branch.

Working hours are 08:00 am - 5:00 pm. This is full time in an office.

This a is a broad and varied opportunity that will focus on the following areas:

HR administration to include contract, handbook, and general policy maintenance using company HR systems
Assist the HR Manager with the development and administration of HR systems and procedures
Assist in all aspects of staff recruitment and training
Assist in new starter onboarding and inductions
Administration of timesheets, leave and absence data
Act as the first line of contact for employee queries
Produce and update employee documentation
Assist HR team colleagues with the implementation of new employee benefit plans and initiatives
Develop training programs, and support managers as necessary to ensure delivery and upskilling of employees
Support QSHE team to promote staff health and wellbeing activities
Collating staff timesheets and assisting with payroll input and checking
Other adhoc administration duties as required to assist the HR Manager

We're seeking a dynamic HR Assistant who possesses at least 18 months of recently gained exposure within the people management function.

The role communicates across all departments of the business and the HR Assistant will be a recognized and trusted member of the team, so great communication and delegation skills will be essential.
