The Role:

Automation Engineer - Factory Automation

This role covers both software engineering and commissioning, working at the head office in Peterborough.
Involved in PLC programming and working on SCADA and HMI's etc
The person will be working closely with project leaders, with the possibility to work as a project leader in the future.
As the Automation engineer you will be specifying, planning, programming, and testing assigned project tasks.
This role will involve visiting sites around the UK.
This person will hold responsibility of overseeing project tasks such as procedures, guidelines, forms and ensuring that the project leader is informed of any problems related to the assigned tasks.

The Ideal Person for the Automation Engineer:

Strong background in software engineering, commissioning of Factory Automation and PLC Programming.
Experience in the automation and food factory market.
Has controlled projects working to time, cost and quality constraints.
Ideally have a Technical/Vocational diploma or degree in electrical or automation engineering or equivalent.
Driven, hungry and selfmotivated.
Experience with SCADA, HMI's and PLC's.
