iMultiply are working with this high growth manufacturing company, to recruit a Finance Business Partner based in Central Glasgow on a permanent basis.

The Role
Supporting the Financial Controller and Head of Finance, perform a key role in supporting the wider business. Your role will involve ensuring good record-keeping and accurate, timely reporting, both during the month and at month end.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Key finance partner for regional business in relation to planning, forecasting and value-add.
  • Assistance with the preparation of annual departmental budgets and midterm forecasts.
  • Preparation of monthly profit and loss and cash flow forecasting.
  • Ability to analytically review monthly financial results and add interpret the results for the management team. This will involve presenting the results at monthly management meetings.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations, fully investigating and reconciling all accounts.
  • Involvement in checking and authorisation of payment runs.
  • Assistance with the annual group audit and statutory audit.
  • Involvement in the VAT return process.
  • Support of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring support is provided across these functions as required.
  • Involvement in other "ad hoc" financial projects.
To be considered for the role you must have the following experience:

  • Qualified accountant e.g. ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA,
  • Experience producing management accounts,
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.

This Finance Business Partner role is offered on a full time, permanent basis with a salary of up to £50,000.

Hybrid working is also available on completion of probation.
