AmTrust International underwrites over $2.5bn of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 people in 14 countries.

We are now looking for a Customer Relations Officer to join our team on an 18 month fixed term contract based within reach of our London office.

Reporting into Customer Relations Manager this is a customer facing role with a primary focus on maintaining the high service levels upheld by the customer relations department by providing a competent and efficient service to our stakeholders, in relation to complaints made to the business, particularly in relation to Structural Defects insurance.

Essential role functions include but are not limited to:

Acknowledge, investigate, and respond promptly and clearly to all AmTrust Group companies' complaints and escalated customer complaints within regulatory timescales.
Providing prompt and clear communications to the complainant within regulatory timescales.
Ensure consistent and fair customer outcomes by assessing all aspects of the complaints received in line with similar past cases/decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong attention to detail skills as well as knowledge of MS office, Work and Excel, willingness to take on additional responsibilities and support colleagues in the wider team, knowledge and understanding of complaint procedures within financial service & regulatory guidance and in particular knowledge of the FCA rules and guidelines in relation to general insurance.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver a high degree of accuracy.

Knowledge of structural defect insurance is preferred but not essential.
