About the Role:


We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in our Special Educational Needs department working 37 hours per week, term time only, 39 weeks per year.


Specific Responsibilities:


  • Establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Educational Health Care Plans / Behaviour Plans.
  • Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on student's achievement, progress and issues in a suitable format.
  • Promote good student behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy and encourage students to take responsibility for their own behaviour.


You will need to be educated up to GCSE standard with Maths and English and have a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience.

Experience of working with children with special educational needs in a school setting would be ideal.
