What to Expect

  • Role to be based in either London or Manchester
What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Tesla Used Car retail business in the UK & Ireland. This includes forecasting, planning, and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director, HQ Used Cars, and functional peers in Sales, Service, and Delivery to achieve goals for volume, growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This includes working closely with the sales team to develop sales plans, Delivery for all operational items and with the service team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Continuously drive a growth mindset and champion innovation to drive performance. This includes staying up to date with industry trends and best practices and identifying new ways to improve the business.
  • Responsible for ushering a healthy Used market for Tesla's and will be the market expert in terms of Residual Value (RV) performance.
  • Maintain regular contacts with the key stakeholders in RV definitions, both internal and external, providing upwards feedback to support decision making wherever this might affect RV positions.
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of sales and service representatives, to achieve the goals and objectives of the used car business.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the used car business in the region, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and laws related to used car sales and service.
  • Strong business acumen, ability to engage and persuade, and bestinclass collaboration and teamwork skills are required.
What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in managing a used retail car business.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and used car market in the UK & Ireland.
  • Excellent ability to engage and persuade, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to drive growth and champion innovation, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, while being efficient with limited resources
  • Thrive in a fastpaced, everchanging environment with multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Strategic thinker that can translate the big picture into clear action plans.
