_Are you a talented writer who would like to use their skills across a range of campaigns and projects to help raise vital funds for St Mungo's?_


We are looking for a talented Individual Giving Writer/Editor to join the team in a role where you will source and write a range of fundraising materials for the Individual Giving team to inspire the public to support St Mungo's and reaffirm for supporters that their contribution is making a vital difference to people who are experiencing homelessness.


In this role you will have the opportunity to take ownership of copy for the team, ensuring that powerful writing and compelling stories drive the success of our fundraising across a range of channels and audiences; in both long copy and short.


  • Client stories are crucial for our communication, you will be an enthusiastic networker within the organisation to source these stories and use your engaging interview skills to gather the stories we need in a sensitive way.
  • You will join a motivated and passionate fundraising team. With your help, we will be able to provide essential fundraised income to end homelessness and rebuild lives.


Whilst our main office is currently in Tower Hill, London, we are flexible and encourage a blended working pattern including working from home and across other London or St Mungo's hub locations.

About you

  • You will have experience of interviewing individuals to generate case studies and the ability to use your good communication skills to build effective relationships with a variety of different people.
  • Strong writing skills to create compelling copy from various sources and for various audiences.
  • You will be capable of working independently and managing your own workload and be interested in working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
