Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to Operations on all electronic and software matters. Analyse, troubleshoot and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. Drive issues to closure with preventive measures
Identify, develop, fabricate and commission cost effective functional test solutions at PCB, sub assembly and final assembly levels ensuing end users are fully conversant in operational procedure
Design, develop and test electronic circuits, ensuring that the design meets the necessary requirements (for test or released product)
Layout PCBs to meet the required performance electrically, mechanically and environmentally

Technical Knowledge

Experience in analogue and digital design
Experience of PIC Microcontroller embedded code development
Awareness of EMC design practices
Test Development background desirable (including UUT fixture design, development, fabrication and commissioning)
Experience with optical and RF communication is desirable
Experience in PCB design (Mentor Graphics PADS is desirable)
Skilled in the use of MS Office and Outlook
