8 hour shift, Monday-Friday with flexible starting times

Job Summary:

Operate a range of slitting and rewinding machines independently;
Produce a consistently high quality end result;
Proactively implement process improvements;
Ensure regular maintenance of rewinder equipment

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation:
Operate a range of slitter and rewinding machines according to standard operating procedures.

Workload Management:
Manage individual slitting and/or rewinding tasks efficiently to meet specific deadlines.

Quality Control:

Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that all products meet the necessary specifications in terms of our ISO quality procedure.

Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality of equipment.

Training and Development:
Engage in training programs to enhance technical skills.

Communication:
Maintain effective communication with production and sales team members.

Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.

Material Handling:
Operate a pallet truck to move, load, and unload materials (training provided).

Training and Development:
Engage in training programs to enhance technical skills.

Pay:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
