Description
We are looking for a experienced procurement professional to lead our Ambulance and Transport Category working across the national landscape of NHS procurement, predominantly with UK Ambulance Services.
You will lead the category, managing and developing a team of procurement professionals, develop the category strategy plans, identify and manage workplan opportunities, provide professional guidance for collaborative procurements and deliver performance targets.
You will be an active member of our Senior Team contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organisation whilst actively promoting collaboration and team working across the organisation to support the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Working closely with senior leads from the ambulance trusts, national NHS bodies and industry, you will directly manage a portfolio of projects and provide an account management service to UK ambulance services.
