Harm Reduction Outreach Worker to join the Sefton service.- Your main task will be to operate in Sefton, identifying and connecting with individuals who are not currently in treatment, guiding them into treatment, all while offering essential harm reduction services during street outreach.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

Salary Range (pro rata if part time)

CGL points 23 to 28, £27, £31, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

To excel in this role:

You'll create, implement, and assess effective Health Promotion and Harm Reduction strategies and programs tailored to individuals, communities, and organisations dealing with substance use.
You'll reach out to entrenched rough sleepers, including those hesitant to engage with services, through proactive outreach efforts.
Ensuring that individual has ongoing access to healthcare will be a priority for this role.
Understanding harm reduction in the context of safeguarding both children and adults is essential.
