Join The Team as a Nursery Lunch Cover Assistant

We are recruiting for a Nursery Lunch Cover Assistant, close to Finchley, North London, who has a passion for working in an Early Years setting, with children aged 0-5 years old.

You'll be helping with the children at break times and lunch times offering help and support to the rest of the team.

Job Specification for Nursery Lunch Cover Assistant to include:

Part time hours working Monday to Friday, all year round, from 10am until 3pm
Experience in a school or nursery setting preferred, some experience essential
Easily accessible by public transport and by car from Finchley, Hendon and surrounding areas

Nursery Lunch Cover Assistant Role Responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Curriculum:
Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery- Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and care-providers

Working as part of a team of Nursery Practitioners in all rooms
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures

Personal Specification:

Can be Qualified in childcare or Unqualified with a willingness to learn and be part of a team
Team Player: flexible and helpful
Knowledge: Some understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage, safeguarding, and health and safety
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities
Experience: Working with 05yearold children in a nursery, preschool or school setting preferredBenefits Include:
