A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A
FRONT DESK AGENT AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY

  • What you'll be doing..._
Reporting to the Assistant Front of House Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

  • Process all guest checkins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
  • Process all checkouts including resolving any late and disputed charges.
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping department to track readiness of rooms for checkin.
  • Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
